Xochitl is a registered veterinary nurse with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and nearly five years of experience across both general practice and emergency care. She is passionate about providing calm, compassionate care and is Stress-Free certified. Xochitl enjoys all aspects of nursing, from surgery and hospital care to client communication, and values working closely with a supportive, like-minded team.

Madeleine is a Certificate IV qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse. Having grown up fostering cats, she developed a strong passion for animal care and welfare, which naturally led her into the veterinary industry.
Madeleine loves all aspects of nursing, with a special interest in surgery, animal behaviour, and caring for rescue animals. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, Alfie, and taking him for beach walks and adventures.

Lynell is a qualified veterinary nurse who graduated in 2023 and is passionate about delivering calm, stress-free care. She values building strong relationships with both pets and their pawrents, helping to ensure every visit feels comfortable and personal.
Lynell enjoys mentoring junior nurses and is dedicated to ongoing professional development, always looking for ways to grow her skills and stay current in the ever-evolving world of veterinary care.
Dr. Henry Chung
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr Henry has been practising as a veterinarian since 2007 and has been proudly serving the Perth community since 2015. Originally from South Korea, he moved to Australia and completed his veterinary qualifications again at Murdoch University, graduating in 2015.
With a strong foundation in small animal general practice, Dr Henry is known for his compassionate, honest, and thoughtful approach to veterinary care. He holds particular interests in all aspects of veterinary medicine, with a keen passion for surgery, dentistry, and ophthalmology. He is also a strong believer in lifelong learning and is always on the lookout for postgraduate programs to further enhance his knowledge and skills.
As a Fear Free Certified Practitioner, Dr Henry is deeply committed to minimising stress, anxiety, and fear in every veterinary visit. He believes this minimal-stress approach leads to better outcomes, not only for the pet’s physical health, but also for their emotional well-being.
His philosophy centres on fostering open communication and long-term relationships, ensuring that every pet and their human companions feel genuinely supported. Dr Henry is proud to serve a diverse local community, striving at The Village Veterinary Hospital to create a calm, respectful, and trustworthy environment where pets are truly treated like family.
